SafeGuard Cyber provides advanced software to combat social engineering attacks, insider threats, ransomware, and compliance violations across email and workplace channels such as M365, Slack, Salesforce, LinkedIn, Zoom, WhatsApp, Telegram and more. They were founded in 2016 and are based in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Driving SQLs Across Industries
When we first partnered with SGC, they were a small, agile team with a powerful vision. Like most early stage companies, they had excellent internal expertise, and just needed marketing bandwidth to help drive them forward.
We embedded with their technical teams to understand the product and develop a stable of technical content. Then, we took their Hubspot email lists, and designed email nurtures to drive interest with both warm and cold leads. These emails were carefully tailored to persona and vertical, and yielded results 2x above industry benchmarks.
Dominating Organic Search with Powerful Content
Together, the BT and SGC content teams built out a strong stable of case studies, whitepapers and blogs. From no serious organic presence, we took SGC to a place where they ranked on the first page of Google for more than 120 terms. With 30 of these terms, they ranked number one, and had SERP snippets. The terms in question included key phrases related to use cases, product features, and industry pain points.
Overall, we drove a 310% increase in organic traffic. Part of what drove this success was a careful strategy that focussed on long tail keywords related to the specific platforms that the SafeGuard Cyber platform protects – Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram, and more.
